Karen Crawford    PT, MS, President

Ms. Crawford is the President of MML Physical Therapy, a privately owned and operated outpatient physical therapy clinic specializing in chronic pain. Formerly, she was the Director of Physical Therapy at the University Center for Pain Management in Houston, Texas, under the direction of Dr. Prithvi Raj. Karen has a certification in Graston as well as Functional Capacity Evaluations. She has been a volunteer with the Trauma Intervention Program which is an organization in Las Vegas utilized by emergency responders to counsel victims of suicide, homicide, or natural death. Ms. Crawford’s memberships include: The American Physical Therapy Association, American College of Sports Medicine, National Chronic Pain Outreach Association, American Pain Society, American Mental Health Counselors Association, and is a clinical associate with the American Academy of Pain Management. Her awards and honors include: the World Who’s Who of Women 1992, Exemplary Humanitarian Service from the city of Houston, TX 1988 and appreciation award from the Afghanistan people during the Afghanistan war 1987. Creative works include Fitness editor, West Houstonian 1983-1987, and founder of Maternally Fit with Courts, Etc. Karen is published in the treatment of CRPS, and has dedicated the last 20 years to treating chronic pain patients. Ms. Crawford received her BS in Physical Therapy from Texas Women’s University and her Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling. Karen is licensed in Utah, Texas, and Nevada and has been a 
resident of Nevada since 1991.

Dr. Mark Rizkalla  PT, DPT

Mark is a Chicago native who completed his Bachelors of Science in Economics and Psychology at the University of Illinois at Chicago before moving to Nevada to complete his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. While in his undergrad, Mark was a member of his university’s Rugby team. After sustaining multiple injuries throughout his tenure, he decided to pursue a career in physical therapy.

Mark is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and is passionate about treating and rehabilitating patients with orthopedic, chronic, congenital and neurological conditions. In addition, Mark also serves as a Teaching Assistant for Structure and Function’s Foundation in Dry Needling course.

Outside of work, Mark is involved with various charitable and community-based organizations. In his spare time, his hobbies include traveling, playing/watching sports and engaging in outdoor activities – most notably cycling. Mark can be spotted riding all over the Valley so if you see him, don’t be afraid to pull over and say hello!

Kim Miranda   PTA, GCS

Ms. Miranda has been a PTA for the past two decades. She has practiced in Texas, Florida and Nevada and has received special training in the areas of wound care and geriatric wellness. She is certified in the Graston technique and has done extensive workshops in myofascial release, as well as numerous other soft tissue mobilization techniques. Kim has been an aquatics instructor for the arthritis foundation and an instructor in Tai-Chi for the elderly. Kim is an active member of the APTA. She enjoys spending time with her son, fiancé and their two dogs (Lola & Delilah). Kim loves riding motorcycles and being outdoors. She is from New Orleans, LA and has been a resistant of Nevada since 1991.

Michelle Hale PTA

Michelle Hale is a Physical Therapist Assistant who was born and raised here in Las Vegas. Michelle holds an Associate of Applied Science degree from College of Southern Nevada and is licensed as a PTA in the state of Nevada.

Michelle started with the MML Physical Therapy team in June of 2018. Prior to joining us at MML, Michelle worked in physical therapy offices throughout the valley, helping adults and kids and has experience treating orthopedic, as well as, neurological ailments. Michelle works under the supervision of the Physical Therapists to ensure each and every patient receives the best possible care. Michelle believes in the importance of physical therapy in the rehabilitation process and feels that it should be fun, as well as educational in order to create a beneficial and productive environment.

In her spare time Michelle loves to watch crime shows and read mystery novels. She loves football and has a new love of hockey as well, due to the exciting inaugural season for the Vegas Golden Knights.

Alyssa Tupasi   Office Administration

Alyssa has been working as an Office Administrator for about a year but has been one of the newest assets to our team here at MML Physical Therapy. For a little over six months Alyssa has been helping us provide our patients with outstanding patient service. Alyssa moved to Las Vegas in 2001 from San Francisco, California where she was born. She loves to spend time with her family and friends on her time off. Also, she enjoys taking her dog Ryder out for walks and play dates.

Joanna Licano   Office Administration

Joanna was born in Arizona and raised in Las Vegas. She has been the newest and youngest asset to our team. She currently attends UNLV pursuing a degree in International Business. Joanna is a proud dog mom of a small Toy Poodle named Minnie.

Rebecka   Therapy Technician

Rebecka has been working at MML Physical Therapy since 2013 and has lived in Las Vegas for 9 years. Rebecka has excellent customer service skills and her caring heart makes our patients feel at home. In her spare time, she helps coach cheerleading and enjoys spending time with her husband and her children. She also spends her spare time as a childhood cancer advocate, being a voice for the children and their families.

Dr. Sarah E. Doyle   PT, DPT

Ms. Doyle earned her Bachelor of Business Administration with dual majors in Economics and International Business, from the University of North Florida, located in Jacksonville, Florida. While at UNF, she studied abroad in Italy and Greece, eventually finishing her degree at Ecole de Lettres in Aix-en-Provence, France. Sarah then relocated to Miami where she worked as a residential, commercial and investment Realtor.

Seeking intellectual challenge, she returned to school at the age of 28 and began the 7 year journey of becoming a Doctor of Physical Therapy. While attending Florida International University, Sarah was a passenger in a motor vehicle accident in which she sustained head, neck, back and shoulder injuries. Being a patient of physical therapy for several years, she unexpectedly learned the most important lesson: understanding what it’s like to be in her patients’ shoes. Sarah has been a member of the NSCA, APTA and FPTA, presenting her doctoral thesis abstract at the FPTA annual conference in 2015. Sarah began her career as an Acute Care PT at Mount Sinai Medical Center, a 700 bed non-profit facility in Miami Beach, Florida.

Sarah relocated to Las Vegas with her fiancé June 2018. Sarah enjoys cooking, going to shows, trying new restaurants, traveling with her beau and having spa days with her girlfriends!

Austin Barto  Therapy Technician

Born and raised in Vegas, Austin loves mixed martial arts. He prides himself in being honest, hardworking, and determined. And he tries his very best to let that carry on to his patients.

Edwin Rodriguez   Therapy Technician

Edwin is from Lancaster,CA where he earned an Associates Degree in Social/Behavioral Science from Antelope Valley College. He has been with the team since 2016. He moved to Las Vegas in 2013 to attend UNLV where his focus was sports medicine and fitness programming. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology. In his free time he enjoys going to the gym, getting outdoors, and traveling.”

Gregory Reed   Therapy Technician 

Gregory is one of our techs that has been with us for about a year. He is an Air Force veteran and has been in the Las Vegas valley for 23 years; originally from the San Fernando Valley (Burbank, CA). He has pursued his passion of the medical/Health field and has an A.S in health sciences from CSN as well as a B.S In Kinesiology, Comprehensive Health Sciences from UNLV. He really enjoys being outdoors whether it being by the beach in the summer, chasing snow during the winter months to go snowboarding, or hiking in between.

My name is Kenya and I was born and raised on the beautiful island of O’ahu! I have been at MML since early July! I graduated from UNLV with my Bachelor of Science, Kinesiology  and am currently working on my Masters of Occupational Therapy degree! I love playing sports in my free time, with soccer being my favorite!

Daily Diaz   

Our Tech Daily moved to the states about 6 years ago. She is from Cuba, an island she highly recommends to visit. She has been part of our family for about 5 months already. She goes to UNLV where she has a year left as an undergrad. One of her goals after graduation is becoming a Physical Therapist. On her free time, Daily loves to watch Netflix, eat pizza and donuts, spend time with family, and travel. In a near future she plans to take her mom to Brazil.
